By The Numbers: Joshua Pacio vs. Yosuke Saruta

Joshua Pacio has been down this road twice before Yosuke Saruta in One Championship.

The Lakay MMA star will defend his strawweight title against Saruta when they complete their trilogy—each man holds a victory over the other—in the One Championship “Revolution” co-headliner on Friday at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Pacio has rattled off seven wins in eight appearances, including three in a row. He last competed at “Fire and Fury,” where he eked out a five-round split decision over Alex silva on Jan. 31, 2020. Saruta, meanwhile, steps into the cage on the heels of back-to-back victories. The Wajutsu Keishukai Hearts representative last fought on Sept. 10, 2020, when he took a three-round unanimous verdict from Yoshitaka Naito under the Shooto banner.
