Migliaccio putting his undefeated record on the line for team USA at M1 Challenge ‘North America vs. Bulgaria’
Mar 16, 2009
(PRESS RELEASE) -- Multiple time jiu-jitsu champion and recent US
transplant Renato
Migliaccio is putting his 4-0 record on the line on March 28,
joining team North America for M-1 Challenge’s “North America vs.
Bulgaria.”
Migliaccio will confront the undefeated Yanko Yanev in a battle of submission specialists. All of Yanev’s six wins have come by way of tapout.
While Migliaccio is still a bit of a novice in MMA, his fighting skills run deep. Migliaccio holds a second-degree black belt from the late Ryan Gracie, a second-degree black belt in judo, and is a former member of the Brazilian national Greco Roman wrestling team.
These days Migliaccio can be found juggling his time between being the head jiu-jitsu instructor at Ultimate MMA in Connecticut, working on his stand up with George Lawler and sparring at Ray Longo-Matt Serra´s Academy in Long Island, N.Y.
